A meeting with the famous Red Eye, a tiger in the forests of Kanha National Park and Tiger Reserve, Madhya Pradesh, India. So named because of a red patch below his eye, presumably a result of a fight with Munna, another star male of the forest. This photograph was taken during an afternoon safari about ten days before the jungle was to close for the monsoons.
